During pregnancy, and following birth, you and your baby can really benefit from genuine, positive, helpful information and support, and a holistic approach during this very special time in your lives.
Associated with the internationally renowned Active birth Centre, Pippa Moss offers Yoga for Pregnancy which is very gentle, yet powerful and effective. Based on Hatha Yoga – using a style adapted by Vanda Scaravelli - emphasis is on working deeply and naturally with the breath, the spine and gravity, which is particularly beneficial for pregnancy and birth preparation.
These special Pregnancy Yoga classes include not only gentle postures, stretches and movements, but also birth preparation, relaxation, discussion and refreshments.
No previous yoga experience is necessary, it's suitable for complete beginners or the more experienced, and for all levels of fitness and flexibility (including for those with SPD).
You can attend anytime during pregnancy, from 14 weeks until your baby is born.
This is more than just a yoga class, the benefits include:
